Filing Times and Positions for Town

Wednesday, January 22, 2025 is the first day for candidates to file declarations of candidacy with the town clerk.  Elected positions are as follows:

3-Year Positions:

  • Selectman
  • Tax Collector
  • Treasurer
  • Budget Committee
  • Trustee of the Library
  • Trustee of the Cemetery
  • Trustee of the Trust Funds

2-Year Positions:

  • Auditor

Friday, January 31, 2025 is the last day for filing declarations of candidacy with town. Town clerk’s office will be open from 3 to 5 p.m. All Candidates must be Registered to Vote.


Wednesday, January 22, 2025 is the first day for candidates to file with the Barnard School District Clerk. The following positions are open:

  • School Board Member - 3 year term
  • School District Clerk - 2 year term
  • School District Moderator - 2 year term

Friday, January 31, 2025 is the final day to file. The School District Clerk will be available until 5pm that day.
